It's been over two weeks since the speedy drywall was hung and nothing has been done to the house since. A few of you have been asking how things are, if we're any closer...and as of today, no - nothing has progressed. We've been at a standstill these past two weeks and the frustration is mounting.
We have received word though, that hopefully the drywall job will continue this week, pending it's warm enough in the house to do it. Ryan dug like a slave last week to get the conduit in place for the electric to run from the road to the house. I firmed up some colors for the house. We confirmed several delivery/orders that are waiting to arrive - kitchen cabinets, fixtures, appliances, carpet. It's like things are waiting to come...and we can't do much right now. It's obviously very frustrating.
Hopefully this week will speed right along and things will start hopping again. I'll keep posting when I hear more.
On a lighter note - we're preparing for Ethan's big-5 birthday this week. A dinner on Thursday, a party on Saturday, and then a Florida vacation the following week. It's going to be so fun!!!
